What causes it
Treating facial redness, dilated vessels and the red marks left by acne is not a matter of covering the colour.
These are changes in the skin that occur as capillaries dilate or an inflammatory response persists — brought on by ultraviolet light, temperature change, repeated inflammation and damage to the skin barrier.
Because the symptoms arise from abnormality in the vessels and the inflammatory response within the skin, accurate diagnosis and a systematic treatment plan are needed.
The type of redness, the distribution of the vessels, whether inflammation remains and how sensitive the skin is are all analysed before treatment is planned in stages — before the condition becomes chronic.
Excel V laser
How it works — the laser is absorbed selectively by the blood vessels, contracting or destroying them.
What it treats — facial redness, dilated vessels, the red marks left by acne, and visible vessels.
How we work with it

Aftercare
- 1.
Avoid direct sun exposure on the day of treatment.
- 2.
The skin can temporarily redden, swell or bruise on the day of treatment.
- 3.
Avoid washing and makeup on the day of treatment; light washing and makeup are possible from the following day.
- 4.
Do not use alcohol-based or exfoliating products until the skin has recovered.
- 5.
Apply regenerative ointment or moisturiser generously so the treated area does not dry out.
- 6.
Avoid saunas, steam rooms, swimming and vigorous exercise for at least a week.
- 7.
Do not apply strong pressure or massage to the treated area.
- 8.
A single treatment does not always clear the condition completely, and further sessions can be needed depending on skin type.
