Why the diagnosis matters

Pigment conditions arise from several causes and appear because of abnormality at cell level, so accurate diagnosis and a systematic course of treatment are needed.

Even where two patches of pigment look the same, the type determines what will work. We analyse the form of the pigment, the depth at which it sits, the cause and the symptoms, and treat accordingly.

Devices we use

PicoSure toning and RevLite toning for pigment at different depths.

Excel V laser and Jeulle BBL Corrective mode — a multi-treatment approach covering a broad range of pigment conditions, keeping damage to the skin tissue low so that discomfort is limited and normal activity is not disrupted.

How we work with it

Assessment by a board-certified dermatologist, treatment planned around your skin, and aftercare aimed at preventing recurrence.

Aftercare

  1. 1.

Crusting can form on the treated area and usually falls away naturally within five to ten days.

  2. 2.

Never pick or scratch the crusts before they fall away on their own.

  3. 3.

Light washing and makeup are possible from the day after treatment.

  4. 4.

Do not use alcohol-based or exfoliating products until the skin has recovered.

  5. 5.

Apply regenerative ointment or moisturiser generously so the treated area does not dry out.

  6. 6.

Avoid saunas, steam rooms, swimming and vigorous exercise for at least a week.

  7. 7.

Do not apply strong pressure or massage to the treated area.

  8. 8.

A single treatment does not always remove the pigment completely; further sessions can be needed.
