How the treatment works

  1. 1.

The tip is placed on the skin

The treatment tip is seated against the skin.

  2. 2.

    Vibration and cooling begin

As treatment starts, vibration and cooling protect the skin.

  3. 3.

    RF energy penetrates

Radiofrequency thermal energy penetrates deeply and, with vibration, regenerates collagen.

  4. 4.

    Cooling is maintained

The cooling system runs throughout while the RF energy penetrates.

  5. 5.

    Final cooling

Cooling runs once more at the end to protect the skin.

What happens in the skin

Immediately after treatment — collagen fibres within the skin are altered and contract, and the contour of the skin is refined.

From around two months — collagen is produced gradually and wrinkles soften.

Through four to six months — collagen production continues.

The surface of the skin is protected throughout by the epidermal cooling function.

Tips

Which tip for which area
Total tip (4.0cm²)Full face — softening facial wrinkles, collagen regeneration
Eye tip (0.25cm²)Around the eyes — softening lines around the eyes, collagen regeneration

What FLX changed

Faster. Treatment is about 25% faster than the previous generation, with a larger tip covering a wider area.

More even. An algorithm delivers optimised energy, allowing precise treatment area by area.

More comfortable. A vibrating handpiece is fitted, so treatment is easier to sit through.

How your visit runs

  1. 1.

    Skin assessment

Imaging analysis and a one-to-one consultation with the doctor.

  2. 2.

    Cleansing

Carried out by a trained aesthetician.

  3. 3.

    Comfort care

Anaesthetic cream and analgesia, managed individually.

  4. 4.

    Treatment

Carried out at the highest energy that does not damage the skin.

Aftercare

  1. 1.

Light makeup is possible on the day of treatment, but we recommend leaving it until the following day.

  2. 2.

Redness can occasionally appear after treatment; this settles within two to three hours.

  3. 3.

For about a week afterwards, it is better to avoid alcohol and smoking, and anything that raises the skin's temperature — vigorous exercise, saunas and steam rooms.

  4. 4.

Apply regenerative cream or moisturiser thoroughly so the skin does not become dry.

  5. 5.

Apply sunscreen carefully whenever you go out, to protect the skin.
