What is Serf?
Serf is a monopolar radiofrequency device that combines two frequencies, 6.78MHz and 2MHz.
Combining the two produces three working depths — shallow, middle and deep. These describe how far the thermal energy spreads, which varies with the characteristics of the skin.
Wave Fit Pulse and ICD cooling
The pulse changes appropriately according to how much energy has been delivered, so treatment stays stable — supplying as much energy and cooling as is actually needed.
Effectors
Effector 05 (5 × 10mm) — for narrow, thin areas.

Effector 60 (20 × 30mm) — for broad, thicker areas.

How your visit runs
- 1.
Skin assessment
Imaging analysis and a one-to-one consultation with the doctor.
- 2.
Cleansing
Carried out by a trained aesthetician.
- 3.
Comfort care
Anaesthetic cream and analgesia, managed individually.
- 4.
Treatment
Carried out at the highest energy that does not damage the skin.
Aftercare
- 1.
Light makeup is possible on the day of treatment, but we recommend leaving it until the following day.
- 2.
Swelling or discomfort can appear in the treated area, varying by individual, and can last three to seven days.
- 3.
For about a week afterwards, it is better to avoid alcohol and smoking, and anything that raises the skin's temperature — vigorous exercise, saunas and steam rooms.
- 4.
Apply regenerative cream or moisturiser thoroughly so the skin does not become dry.
- 5.
Apply sunscreen carefully whenever you go out, to protect the skin.
