What these treatments are
Wegovy is a once-weekly injectable weight-management treatment that reduces appetite and prolongs the feeling of fullness.
Mounjaro is a once-weekly injectable weight-management treatment that works through appetite suppression together with metabolic effects.
Both are prescription medicines. Treatment at Egg Clinic Sinsa is led by Dr. Kim Junsu, Head of the Weight & IV Centre, and the plan is managed individually.
Obesity needs treating, and it is worth leaving to a doctor rather than managing alone.
How treatment is managed
The dose is started low and increased gradually, to reduce the likelihood of side effects.
Both treatments are also associated with effects on blood glucose and metabolic measures, which is taken into account when the plan is set.

Dehydration can occur, so pay attention to fluid intake.

Alcohol must be avoided — it affects alcohol metabolism and can worsen side effects.

The dose is increased slowly from the starting level to reduce the likelihood of side effects.

Adverse reactions including dizziness, headache, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhoea and constipation can occur.
