What is PRP?

Blood is drawn, spun in a centrifuge and concentrated, and the platelet-rich plasma is used for treatment.

Because it uses your own cells there is no rejection response, and because it regenerates the structure of the skin rather than adding moisture at the surface, the effect is longer term.

What it works on

Promoting collagen regeneration, tightening pores, improving acne scarring and depressed areas, firmness and sagging, evening out skin texture and tone, softening fine lines, balancing sebum, and increasing the speed of regeneration.

Adding MCT

MCT (Metacell) can be added to PRP to strengthen the regenerative factors.

It generates pure autologous exosomes from your own platelets, increases the production of growth factors that stimulate cells to promote tissue regeneration and healing, and raises the synthesis of the energy source needed for skin cell division and regeneration.

How it differs from stem cell therapy

PRP separates and uses platelet-rich plasma; the growth factors in the platelets promote tissue regeneration and help suppress inflammation. Stem cell therapy concentrates stem cell components and induces recovery more broadly, through a more complex separation process.
